I am amazed that even not having seen his face in the paisley shirt, I would still recognize him. I remember this shirt.Beckyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16074841310510228552noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7489237460439958691.post-20572327158762895362008-11-08T21:21:00.000-05:002008-11-08T21:21:00.000-05:00After reading about your toy protectors, Paul, I n...After reading about your toy protectors, Paul, I now INSIST you check out Erin's blog:

http://bibliohead.blogspot.com/2007/06/nak-nakapalooza.htmlAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7489237460439958691.post-61039354952731085932008-10-28T12:19:00.000-04:002008-10-28T12:19:00.000-04:00Okay, I just had an epiphany! The Engineering Paper shirt and the Lee Majors shirt opened my eyes. I NOW KNOW!

I truly believe Paul got all of his shirts from the immense garage sale we had after my father passed in 1999. That's it!! These shirts were all previously worn by my father (well, except for the 'hidden object' shirt)!! That would explain the antiquity value of these garments since my father never threw anything away! If I paste a photo of my father's head to Paul's body, I could even fool my mother. I share Jason's sentiment... "Thanks for the memories!"

Epiphany: a sudden, intuitive perception of or insight into the reality or essential meaning of something, usually initiated by some simple, homely, or commonplace occurrence or experience.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7489237460439958691.post-31428445342454015442008-10-27T22:38:00.000-04:002008-10-27T22:38:00.000-04:00This one is my favorite (the camo/"I spy" shirt a ...This one is my favorite (the camo/"I spy" shirt a close second). I'm afraid to admit that the others look normal to me, familiar even. Maybe it has to do with being in the same cohort as Paul. The same shirt, which surely blended in "up the mountain", was transported to CubicleLand and promptly turned into a bullseye (if the comments he's received today are any indication).

This also accounts for the difficulty Bruce had in committing the shirt to photographic record.

More evidence of the need for tougher shirt control legislation...JasonIhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09531115374103520775noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7489237460439958691.post-73283778401410163952008-10-21T12:51:00.000-04:002008-10-21T12:51:00.000-04:00It's an "I Spy" shirt. There was a concern that the mere existence of this site would alter the natural selection of the subject's gown in the morning. As suspected, in the days following the creation of this site, the subject's choices were growing more and more traditional. No longer were the gowns subjected to the regulations of the FCC, but instead were simple stripe patters(exhibit 1: ground zero & exhibit 2: meeting at client site). My worries seem to be confirmed, but with the test of time it seems old habits die ever so hard. 1 week after conception, the blog has paid dividends and the has successfully captured and conveyed the truly phenomenal pieces of modern art masterpieces that graces Link's halls every morning and sometimes....night. Take note, these amazing spectacles of art in the day can turn menacing portraits at night. THE SHIRTS have routinely been mistaken for UFO's, Ghouls, and or walking man-size DnD game pieces by neighbors, coworkers, and the general public. Im confident that today's piece is just a small slice of what is yet to come. Today's conglomerate of mid-evil paint shade and geometric upheaval are a true testament of Paul's unique taste, but more importantly his sportsmanship.Jerrellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07433769409902262090noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7489237460439958691.post-24874262798468351382008-10-13T13:59:00.000-04:002008-10-13T13:59:00.000-04:00This blog is making me laugh. He does not go shopping, however he has us return any shirt he does not like that we buy him... so his mother, his aunts and I have all acquired a feel for what he likes. When shopping if we see a shirt from 20 yards and the pattern is overwhelming, or it is orange, red, or a bizarre glow of a color, then we know it will be one that he keeps. This is the main reason that he lacks subtle shirts... we all don't want to have to return them, so we compete to have him like our shirts best... and there are a lot of us looking.Cathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00484194391157543985noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7489237460439958691.post-59075266995791119952008-10-10T16:00:00.000-04:002008-10-10T16:00:00.000-04:00Yellow is cheery, but also the most fatiguing to t...Yellow is cheery, but also the most fatiguing to the eye due to the high amount of light that is reflected. Reference

Most importantly yellow is the most attention getting of colors and it definately did its job in this case.Bruce Moserhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04643405623056525408noreply@blogger.com
